Shegan’s eye or Syri I Sheganit is a water
spring near the village of Gashaj, at the north-eastern coast of Shkodra Lake.
Water from the northern Alps form underground water stream and reappear as a
number of springs or ‘eyes’ around the lake basin.
Shegan’s eye is the biggest
water spring among these eyes and particularly known due to its exceptional
beauty. Its water is clear, fresh and deep.
