Loro Boriçi Stadium

The Loro Boriç Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Shkoder, Albania. It is currently mostly used for football matches and is the home ground of Vllaznia Shkoder.

The stadium holds 16,000 spectators and was reconstructed in 2001. Built in 1953 and named after Vojo Kushi, a World War II hero, it was renamed in the 1990s  in honour of Loro Boriçi, a famous player from the 1940s and 1950s. In size it comes second after the Qemal Stafa stadium in Tirana.
The stadium hosted the Albanian national football team in a 29 March 2003 match against Russia, for the UEFA Euro 2004 qualifiers.

The match ended in a 3-1 win for Albania.
After a renovation in 2016 it now holds 16.000 seats.
